Profile Information

What surnames are you interested in researching?
Drysdale and Douglas
What countries and other locations are you interested in researching?
All
What is your level of genealogy knowledge?
Intermediate Family History Researcher
If you are a genealogy expert, what are your specialties?
Not an expert
For what reason did you start genealogy research?
Wanted to trace my ancestors back as far as I am able. Was told as a child that we came from the Black Douglas line. I recently found out that the surname Drysdale may well go beyond the Douglas line and that Drysdale may go further back before 1298. I have recently found out that I have Scottish, Irish and Scandanavian genes. I think the Irish is my mother's family.
