I don't know that this will help at all. I show your William E Edmondson b1766 NC-d1853 TN as a son of Bryant 1740-? and Sarah Farr. And I have no proof of this father son relationship.

John Coleman Edmondson was born 26 Dec 1806 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, died 16 October 1855 in Tishomingo, Tishomingo County, Mississippi.
