- What countries and other locations are you interested in researching?
- United States - Primarily Northern New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and New York. When I cross the Atlantic, I'll be researching England, Germany, Holland, France, Norway, and Denmark.
- What is your level of genealogy knowledge?
- Intermediate Family History Researcher
- For what reason did you start genealogy research?
- It's all my mother's fault!!! She tried to get me involved in her genealogical research when I was a kid. (She dragged me to cemeteries, etc. and bored me further by talking with my grandmother about genealogy.) I wasn't interested then, but when she resumed her studies (in April, with the release of the 1940 census), she got me hooked BIG TIME! I haven't been conducting my own research for very long, but I have a good foundation to work with. (Thanks, Ma!) Our current system works well for us: Ma researches her side of the family tree while I work on my paternal side.

HI there Kathryn...
My Sherwoods were from Rockland County...but originally from Westchester County..with Reverent Levi Sherwood 1778-1834...his son moved to Rockland County.
