What countries and other locations are you interested in researching?
Texas, South Carolina, Virginia, and Alabama, USA
What is your level of genealogy knowledge?
Intermediate Family History Researcher
For what reason did you start genealogy research?
My father was adopted by family members. I never knew about his paternal side. When my "uncle" died in 1983 I asked an older relative about our history. She was amazing and told me as much as she could. I did the same with my maternal grand aunt and that began my journey to finding my ancestry. Others were instrumental as well. I have enjoyed the journey, which continues almost 30 years later.

Do you have any ancestors from Wilcox County, Alabama? My grandfather Oliver Andrews lived in Camden, Alabama, the county seat of Wilcox. His father was Tom Andrews who lived in Oakhill, a community in Wilcox County. Frank E. Moorer
