I can't find William F. Yates I know her mothers side, Roundy married Thurstons..

I also have another surname mentiones with Grace. I'm not sure if it's her maiden name or another married name, it is Behan . Anyway it all took place in Massachusetts. Grace was a Registered Nurse while living in Mass. So I've also been looking for any colleges that would have been established within the years of 1890s'-1925 or more  just to see if I can find where she graduated from. This will be a Big undetaking I think. Wish me luck..

I'm sorry I never got back to you. As I was saying My maternal grandmother, Grace Eldora (Yates)Chapman was born in Charlestown,Suffolk co., Mass. Mar.21,1892.   Her father was: William Frank Yates and her mother was Nellie L. Roundy

My YATES connection seems to be spelled YATES and YEATES as well!

Can anybody help?  I have found my great-great-great-grandmother, Joanna D YATES, who was christened on 14 February 1808 in Chudleigh, Devon, England, and died on 25 March 1873 in Ottery St Mary, Devon.  She was the daughter of Sarah YEATES, christened on 14 August 1780 in the Independent Meeting House in Chudleigh, Devon - and an unknown father.  Sarah's parents were William YEATS and Sarah.  And that's all I know.  Can you add to this?
