Edward Stanley born 1791 - married Roxanna Spurr - had daughter Mary Frances and sons Samuel Spurr Stanley and Edward P. Stanley.
The Spurr family was from Otisfield and the history of Otisfield is where I found what information I have.

Ken Reeves said… - Hi Pam. My Carter's were my Great Grand Mother-Anna Eliza Carter, Born: 864 in Ky and Died: 1931 in Estill Cty, Ky. Her farther was Martin Van Buren Carter, Born: 1835 in Bath Cty, Ky. His Father was ElijahCarter from Buckingham Cty, Va Born: 1799. Elijah was married to Eliza Ragland. His Father was Joseph Jacob Carter III and it goes back to Thomas Carter from Hedfordshire, England. Born: Bet 1528-1535.
