Hi I am looking for information on Benjamin Congdon, Elizabeth Albro, they was in Portsmouth, RI in the 1600's. Also looking for Benjamin Congdon and Francis Stafford also of Portsmouth, I have a John Congdon, Jr. born in 1777 in Rutland, Vermont, he married Tabitha Place, she was also born in Rutland Vermont. I have seen where John Congdon, Jr, is the grandson of Benjamin and Francis, it was in a message board, but have been unable to find any John Congdon b. 1777 in Vermont or RI.

My surnames include Sherman, Scott, Brown, Jenks, Odding, Smith. They left RI and migrated to western MA

Apparently some Leforts settled in Rhode Island. It would be interested to find out and reach some of them....
