Jacob (possibly Darius Jacob or Jacob Darius)Reynolds was born 1783 in Dutchess County, New York. His son Orlando Parsons Reynolds was born in 1806 in Windham, Greene County, New York. Orlando married Philomela Young in Granger, Allegany County, NY. Their son Van Olinda Sheffield Reynolds was born 1848 in Granger. Van married Annette Josephine Pitt in Central City, Merritt County, Nebraska. Both died in Reynolds Township, Montcalm County, Michigan.

Still looking for GGrFA James A. Reynolds born 1863 in Pennsylvania (probably Philadelphia), married Elizabeth Richter in 1884 and had 3 children before they divorced in 1884. She remarried. James apparently deserted the family. The tow oldest children were placed in St Vincent's orphanage and later ran away. I knew my GrFA, James oldest son, Robert, as well as family history to now. WHAT I DO NOT KNOW IS THE NAME OF JAMES PARENTS. According to my mother, James mother was a Foley. Any help is greatly appreciated. Lorry Wolfe

We are researching the family of John Joseph Reynolds b. 1842 in Longford, Ireland, d. 1895 in New Orleans, Louisiana, m. Mary McDonald b. 1847 possibly in Scotland.  Their daughter Cecilia Reynolds 1869-1935 married Elam Thomas Robertson 1857-1907.  We believe Cecilia was the second wife of Elam Thomas Robertson and that he had at least one son (possibly Charles) by his first wife.  We would like to locate the family of Elam Thomas from his first wife.  They most likely lived in Mississippi.

Jacob Reynolds was born on Christmas Day 1783 in Dutchess County, New York....possibly in Pleasant Valley Township.  He married Betsey Strong in 1802 at Windham, Green County, New York.  Betsey was born in 1787 at Pleasant Valley. It has been suggested that Jacob might be a son of Daniel Reynolds.  There maybe a connection to Sheffield Township in Berkshire County, Massachusetts.  Jacob died in Allen, Allegany County, New York in 1859. I shouldn't post when I'm so tired. Claudia not Caludia

Suz, thanks for your reply. Sorry I have not been on here for a very long time. The only thing I really know is that Edward Reynolds whom married Martha Davidson in Massac Co Ill, well Edwards father was also Edward Reynolds who married Sara Henson from Caldwell County, Ky. I believe my Sara Henson ties in with the Goodbread line from Ky. That's really all I have on Edward Reynolds.
