Cornelius Elias Peters was born in Nedersachen in 1831, emigrated to the USA in the 1840s, settled Mobile, AL about 1845. Married a Mary Jane Nelson, b. 1836 Pensacola, FL, in 1855 and from there my USA "branch" of the Peters family started.

I would appreciate contact with anyone that has knowledge of my Peters clan or any suggestions as to where I may find genealogical links.

States that my known roots are in: Texas, Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky and possibly Louisiana.
