My great great grandfather, Samuel Jospeh Newmark (1862-1940), immigrated originally from Warka, Poland -- first to England, and then to America. His father was Israel David (? - 189_), and beyond that we do not know.

Checked in Naturalized Jews of the Grand Duchy of Posen in 1834-5, E.D.Luft (2004) for Neumark and variations. found 3, Issac Nathan a businessman in Kempen town; Nathan a businessman in Zduny town, and Philipp a teacher in Jutrochin town.
I have 14 in my tree starting with Joseph and son Harris b. 4 jul 1834 in Posen city.
