Lemmon/ Repine
Searching for parents of Samuel Lem(m)on born ca 1812/13 in Virginia. In 1850 he was living in Bedford Co., PA with his wife Rebecca Repine (born circa 1814--possibly in New Jersey). They were probably married around 1832/33. Their children were: Samuel (born circa 1833), James (born circa 1837), Sarah (born circa 1840), Catherine (born circa 1841), William (born 1842), Henry (born 1845), and Harrison (born circa 1847). William and Henry came to Indiana after the Civil War. Father Samuel is buried there as well. Harrison went to Fulton Co. Ohio. I think the family split up as the death certificate shows Harrison’s parents as “unknown”. I have information on William, Henry, and Harrison, but cannot find the other children after 1850. All the children were born in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. The names are spelled at various times as Lemmon and Lemon. Any insight on this family's heritage would be appreciated.

My 4th great-grandfather is Issac Lemon, married to Levina Richardson, born abt. 1753, from Rocky Mount, Franklin County, Virginia. Looking for more information and to connect the family back to Scotland

My husband's 7th great-grandmother was Mary Olivet Lemon, b: 1682 in Caranleigh, Cloughwater, Antrim, Ireland. She married William Gaston from the same area.
