I want to delete my current tree from Ancestry.co.uk and upload a new one from FTM 2010. I'm unable to delete the existing tree because the website shows my password as incorrect. My understanding is that I need to enter my Ancestry.co.uk password, which I am doing. I just logged in and out of my Ancestry account and the password is working fine there but still the delete tree function will not accept it. Is there some other password required that I have overlooked?

If you are using FTM 2010 or 2011, try accessing the Ancestry website from the WebSearch space within FTM and then deleting the tree that way. It worked for me.
James,

Do you have the Family Tree Maker Program? If so, what version?

Did you try what Caroline did? That is delete it from within Family Tree Maker?

Russ
I have 2011 and yep that worked for me as well. Like i said must be a bug on the website
James,

Possibly. Don't know.

Thank you for the confirmation on this problem.
