My great great great great grandmother was a widow named Mrs. Elizabeth Lewis, born in the 1820s in Illinois, widow of one Charles Lewis. In Union County, Illinois, August 1866, she remarried to one Charles Barnes. Nothing else is known of Charles Barnes and nearly nothing else is known of his widow Elizabeth Barnes. They lived in the vicinity of Jonesboro, and Anna, in Union County, Illinois.
