Hello...my name is Malcolm Earl Robinson. I am searching the Robinson name from Houston County, Texas. My grandfather's name was Leslie Robinson (B:1907 in Crockett, Houston, Texas and , D:1987 in Tucson, Pima, Tucson, Arizona). He's mother's name was Alcy Wingwood Bacon (B:?, D;1942). I have traced her line back to a Primus Wingwood (B:1817 in South Carolina). My brickwall stops at my paternal great-grandfather. All I have is James Luke Robinson. Thank you the acceptance, Pamela. The Robinson/Robertson family am am researching are from the Highland County, VA area. Sepicifily,
Charles Rufus Robertson who married Luvinia Rexroad. Shortly after the family moved to Pendleton and Pocahontas Counties, WV they started to change the suname to Robinson. My grandmother always went the Robinson surname. Ron Thompson monk@alaweb.com

From poor Memory: Col. Beverly Robinson I think was head of British intelligence in the Revolution and wed a wealthy Dutch descent widow who owned 21 miles of now state of New York State, river waterfront.

Well, I know what counties my family at large is from counties Cork, Mayo, Claire, and I think Limerick. I don't know who came from where.

Thomas Robinson. He was born in Ireland in about 1834. His son Thomas (1866-1930) married Catherine McGlory and had my grandmother. She was born in 1913
