Thanks for getting back to me!
I managed to trace back to the turn of 1600s with my Van Every ancestry. McGregory 1723-1786 was a 3rd generation born in USA. He immigrated to Canada with sons but I have not branched out to see what happened to the lot of them. At birth the spelling would have been different, Van Iveren/Yveren,  hoping this could possibly help your search

Hello, A possible distant cousin here also. My mother’s maiden name is VanEvery, Decent- McGregory, David, William, James, Harriet, John, Owen, Ronald. I’ve been trying to find a father for my 2nd great grand father born John Green but raised by his grandparents James and Sarah Beirs Van Every
