"Hi Stefanie! First, I'm adopted... so not a Blood-Van Every.  2nd, I've not been able to trace the family back to McGreggor...  I've lost them in the 1800's in Nebraska.  Sorry I can't be of more help."

I managed to trace back to the turn of 1600s with my Van Every ancestry. McGregory 1723-1786 was a 3rd generation born in USA. He immigrated to Canada with sons but I have not branched out to see what happened to the lot of them. At birth the spelling would have been different, Van Iveren/Yveren,  hoping this could possibly help your search

We are likely cousins. My maternal grandmother was a Van Every - descent: Myndert, Burger, Martin, McGregory, David, Andrew, Samuel, Melvin, Myrtle.
