These are my views ONLY - while I have found many genealogists who agree, the words and opinions that I state are mine alone.
I am not completely bashing Ancestry.com - I just disagree with alot of their practices.

Excellent advice for beginning genealogists and you are entirely right about your findings regarding Ancestry.com.. NEVER trust information you find which cannot backed up with actual factual records. Another source to watch out for regarding errors is Family Search, LDS. Over the years I have found many errors in their records with my own family. I never use them as a source or citation. I do have my family tree on Ancestry.com but it is PRIVATE and will stay that way for the very reasons you mention in your video. You often see people that just copy information from someone else's tree and then it just snowballs. Well done video.
