I have been working on other names in my Bowie line, but always take a look when I see that there's been new posts to your page here.  I wonder...if Betsy actually was one of Daniel's students she may have been several years younger than him, possibly being his 2nd marriage and therefore, he'd have been older (even 61) fathering a child with his younger wife still of childbearing age.

My William is the father of your Nehemiah.  Elizabeth looks to be a granddaughter through a son, Jonathan.  Sources I've seen state Jonathan as a son, but I've seen other genealogies that claim Nehemiah and Thomas are the sons. I've not researched this line extensively as I'm focused on my Turnpaugh/Turnbaugh/Dornbach  line in Maryland.  I don't think I have your other lines but Hinkle sounds familiar. Perhaps they married in somewhere or I'm just familiar with the name from all the old graves I traipse through looking for Turnpaugh LOL.  I am going over to the Eastern Shore on Sep 13 -15. Yippee! I've never been there but I'm getting days at a timeshare owned by a law firm that has part time space at my office. I'm trying to make a list of Hearn(e) places over there to visit.  Do you have anything to put on the list? I plan to take lots of pics :)

Most of my life I was told that "our" Hinkle line was descended down form
Anthony Henckel and I am attempting to connect my known lineage back to ancestors before 1839. This was the birthdate of my GGGF James Samuel Hinkle. James married Eliza Walker b. 1841 in Knox County Indianna. James was reared in Jefferson County KY. In 1931 my GF moved to Maryland. Where the Hinkles stayed until about 1985. There remain one Nephew that resides in Baltimore and his name is James Patrick Hinkle. I know of no other Hinkles in Maryland

Yeah Pam We are related, my grandfather was Peter Saurborn, my mother was a Saurborn, we have talked before. I'm searching for Asaph Colegate and his daughter Nancy in Huntingdon county, pa. She was born there in 1790, but the census doesn't give names in 1800 0r 1810. Trying to find her. They came to what is Marion County in 1819 and she died in1860. Can't find a death certificate on her. She Married William R. Welsh from same place in Pa. My husbands grandfather. Dianne Welch
