- I am researching the Stanley line that hails from Onecyphorous and Mary Stratton Bryan Standlee. A decendent of theirs, John Standlee (b. 1838 in AR) started going by Stanley around 1880. John's children went by Standley and Stanley. They moved around AR,MO,OK and TX alot following work in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
