Robert....My Aunt Pill's real name was Velma Compton, and she was born in Cherokee County Texas in 1908...My Uncle Roy, whom we called Uncle Poodle, gave her the name of Pill and she called him Poodle. Auntie Pill moved to the Rio Grande Valley with the rest of her family in 1929...I do not know when she met and married my Uncle Poodle, but I know how they met....He saw her sitting on her porch and drove his motorcycle up the steps to introduce himself....While they had no children themselves, they helped raise my mother and a cousin named Victoria Compton, who lives in Austin, Tx....They were like grandparents to me....If you have specific questions, I'll try to answer them the best I can.....Also, Auntie Pill worked as a seamstress(self-employed) until she was in her Eighties....Again, I will try to be as helpful as possible....Thank you, Catherine Pipkin

Robert...Roy and Pill Boyett were my great uncle and great aunt...Pill was my grandmother's sister...I was quite close to both my aunt and uncle...If you gave questions about them, let me know...I also have many pictures...They were dear to me.....Thank you, Catherine
