I am looking to find information about someone who was adopted, probably around 1900. I have the adopted parents names but would like to find more info. I believe this girl may have been one of the "Home Children"  who arrived from England in the early 1900's. Have never had to search for adoption related issues, so not sure where to start.

I came across your post regarding James Thompson.

James Irvin Thompson was married to Dinah Bryon. Just today, I was photographing the cemetery where their headstone is.
