I am trying to locate the actual Native American in our background. It is possible that there will be more than one. My Great Great Grandfather was John Ross Carder whose first marriage to Mary L Boss produced Robert Carder, my Great Grandfather. John Ross' mother was Jennie Ross from Tn, relocated to Ross Co Ohio in early 1800's, Any more specifics will be appreciated.

I am researching Sanford Carder through his son Armstead Carder, Armstead moved to Bellfountaine, Logan County, Ohio and married Elizabeth Bragg one of their daughters Phoebe married Thomas Miller 1829 between 1840-1850 census they moved to Pleasent Lake Angola Co Indiana.
