I'm sorta stuck on my Ramsey line. I can get them back to my 3 great grandfather William Washington Ramsey who was killed in the Civil War November 25, 1863. Perhaps here I can meet more Ramsey's and make a connection.
Hi Gina
My Guest family from Lancashire England was rather large and some of my ggrandmother's sibling did come over but as far as I can see all came to Canada.

Hi Carole,
I have a Bertha Guest in my line (my great grandmother) who lived in PA, USA. Her family came to America from England. Do you have any Guest's who ended up in PA?

Okay, that didn't quite work...Ephraim Carle is our common ancestor.
Your line is on the left and mine is on the right. Apparently, the spaces I put in between didn't hold.

I am connected to the Devlin's on my paternal grandmother's side. I have gone back to my 3xgreat grandfather. So far they are all from Auchinleck, Ayrshire, Scotland. I haven't determined as yet whether or not they originated in Ireland before that, but there is always that possibility.
