My mother also came from Sarsfield and many of the residents of Eastern Ontario moved to Windsor Ontario when Henry Ford opened a car manufacturing plant in what was known as Ford City. They were known as Laverne rather than Lavergne. Could it be…

Hi, I am doing research on my mother's side of the family. Her maiden name is Lavergne. I have done well researching my ancestors using Ancestry and by collecting information from older relatives. I have a few puzzles in my research and it is difficult for me to solve these issues while living in California.My biggest question surrounds my maternal great-great grandfather, Auguste Francois Martin.
