John J Hagerman Born 1799 Dutchess County, NY

I found a John Hageman married to a Clerke in the 1600's does anyone have any idea of their offspring?  Also does anyone have any information on Clark's, Clarke's, Clerk's daughter married to a Hagerman(Hageman, Hegeman)  My ancestor John J  Hagerman named his oldest son John Clark I assume after his father, he follows naming traditions with the rest of his children.  He shows up in Ovid, NY in 1818 married Sally Terry and might have been the son of Isaac Hagerman (d1804)  His son Joseph…See More

"Somewhere I found from this page a john Hagerman that left to Canada that had a son born 1799 that left his children behind, likely this john's children would have been raised by family.  "

"Of course the other side is that Isaac Hagaman died in 1803 and likely his children would have been placed with people as an Apprentice.  Also given John and Sally followed naming patterns else where likely Joseph W is the grandson of Joseph…"

"I agree, I talked to Cline Hagerman a descendant of Joseph as to who he thinks are connected to, His problems with the connection is naming systems that would seem our John J's father should be John Clark, so the issue comes from a connection…"
