Mathis,Matthis, Mathews, Duplin Co, NC

I am researching Mathis,Matthis and Mathews from Duplin Co, NC, Essex b. 1829 married into the Robinson Family. All spellings were use from 1870 to the 1900s. Her name is either Easter or Esther Robinson b. between 1825-1830. His name was spelled Exec or Essick during this time. My question is how are her parents and siblings. Essex's mother was said to be Jane. Jane was a typical name during slavery..See More
