My Halterman family resided in Wapello county in 1865. Joseph Andrew "Jody" Halterman (who married Laura Emma Warren) was born there in that year.

My 2xgreat-grandparents,Thomas Drake & Hannah Browning,moved from Monroe Co.,OH. to Wapello Co.,IA. circa 1869. They had 10 children. Only William,George & Thomas remained in OH. Their other children were:Benjamin,John,Mary,Wesley,Frederick,Cassandra & Esther Ann Drake.
