If you were talking about a place name,
I tried my trusty KAK atlas and find the following

Horda two, both in Småland.
Horde none
Hårde or a none
Hörde or a three also in Småland.
Nothing that meets you suggestion.

Cradled in Sweden does not least any parish by tht name.

Can you give the complete context. Do you know anything else about your ggfather? especially geographically?
There is no parish in Sweden with that name. When did your grandfather left Sweden. Do your know when he was born?
Maybe he can be found in a database called "Emigranten populär" where the name of the parish usually is mentioned.

Did you try "Emigranten populär"? How did it work out?

Are there any other placenames associated with your grandfather?

Horde (in what ever form) could be a farm name. I wish I had a Svensk Ortforteckning. That would be the place to look that up. Does someone out there have access to one?
You may have to take another approach. Look at his siblings. Try to find immigration data. Unless it is easy, you have to look at all of the context data. You may have to really dig into his life.

When you are ready to get more help on this site, be sure to share ALL of the data you have. You should find him in all of the census that he appears in. Look at immigration dates on each of them and see how they compare.
I have no info on siblings for him or his wife. I only have info on their family after they came to the US. I have a complete profile of him post immigration. Thanks
Could you please put up the post so I can take a look at it
