In the 1866-72 clerical survey of Åsle parish, p. 50, is the family of Lars Larsson. His son Johannes seems to have left in 1872, but I cannot make out the name of the parish to which he relocated. It doesn't seem to correspond to any parish whose name is familiar to me. Can anyone help me figure it out? Thanks.

The text is saying "Härnedan" which means Hereunder. He has moved on the same farm. On the line below you can se that he has moved from "Härofvan" which means hereinbefore.

Richard.

Sorry I did not have oppertunity to look at the record, but if Viktoria's analysis is right,  you should find Johannes somewhere in the same hfl. Most records I've see the name of Johannes would be crossed out with the original family and then re written somewhere. I presume he is not of the same page or you would have seen him already. Unfortunately, the priest could have written him in somewhere where he could have found room or perhaps at what was then the end of the names in hfl.

Was there a number after the comment you observed? It could be the page number. If he actually moved out of the parish, there could be a number to the utflytning  document. Also, what was his age? Did he go to live with relatives? Did he come back in later years?

Ah yes, that should have been obvious. Thanks for the help!
