Help in reading a record
In the 1866-72 clerical survey of Åsle parish, p. 50, is the family of Lars Larsson. His son Johannes seems to have left in 1872, but I cannot make out the name of the parish to which he relocated. It doesn't seem to correspond to any parish whose name is familiar to me. Can anyone help me figure it out? Thanks.See More

Look up in Franklin co.
I'm searching for a long-lost cousin of my mother's, and I think I may have found him but need some help to confirm. I believe he is the Bert Roy Edenholm who died 12 Apr 2002 in Frankfort, Franklin co. KY. Is there someone who could confirm from his death certificate that he was the son of Vitus Nathaniel Edenholm? Or who could locate an obituary for him in a Frankfort newspaper? Any help appreciated!

Elusive Civil War ancestor from Franklin co. AR
My grandfather's family came largely from Northwest Arkansas, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, and Washington cos. The surnames are Johnson, Elliott, Hash, Street, and Drake. One of my major brick walls is my great-great-grandfather, who allegedly died in Texas in 1865, "on the way home from the Civil War." I've not been able to find his military records, and with a name like John Johnson, you can imagine the difficulty.
