what info are you looking for? the Family Search Pilot site has good Illinois info. If you post specific questions, I can look at other resources-
All I know is that Matthew bought land in Cook county in the 1800's to stop the slaves from buying it. His wife married 3 times. Apart from that I know very little else about him. I do have the names of the husbands of the wives, but I' insterested to find out what happened to Matthew and his land.

what I did was to combine research from using the below reference for the http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/archives/databases.html websight, and then going to the family search pilot sight , and alternating between Heritage Quest through my local library. I was able to obtain a copy of my grand grandmothers wedding certificate by using all three - the document took a while to locate on the family seach but it was there and I was able to print it immediately for my records. Could not find my grandmothers birth records but was able to find her younger sister and many of her half siblings. Keep trying, it sure paid off for me!
