Just a up date. I found George and Pricilla Houck's death cert. And his obit. And found her death cert.  Mystery solved.  Finding out more and more about Georges family. I went to a cemetery also and found many Houck.  Now to go to the cemetery where my Houck's are.  Rose I think your Houck are related to my Great Grandpa George Houck.....Maybe we can see if I am right. Thanks.

Hello, I am new to your group.  My Grandfather was William Gilbert Houck, born 3/29/1876 in Lapeer, MI.  He was the son of Frank Houck, born 3/19/1845 in New York and Josephine Hamlin, born about 1857.  Frank Houck was the son of Ferdinand Houck, born in August 1817 in Germany and Adeline Hellen Radel.  Frank and Josephine Houck lived on their farm in North Branch Township in Michigan.

Hello, I'm looking for a Maria or Delia Adams that married a Houck in the Woodsboro area, Frederick County, Maryland. She was the daughter of William and Joanna Grimes Adams. Her brother William Henry's obituary lists her name as Delia and her sister Gertrude Adams Albaugh's obit lists her name as Maria. Her parents had 11 children between 1869 and 1895 so I'm not sure where she falls in that line. Any information would be great.

My Great-Grandfather was John Homer Houck born 10/30/ 1860,in Dutch Bottom,Pa.married Edith Juniata Deal (Diehl) in Hollidaysburg Pa. on Dec 29 1886. I know tons about the Deals but next to nothing about my Houck fam.Possibly,John's father may have been Amish, but may have fought in Amer. Civil war..but I don't see how , if he was Amish..anyway,if any of this sounds familiar we may be cousins and I'd love to hear from y'all

My grandmother is Mary Rosella Houck Bruman. She lived in Burnside Township, Lapeer County, Michigan. Her parents are Frank Houck (from Lewis County, New York) and Josephine Hamlin (from Oneida, New York). Her grandparents are Ferdinand Houck and Helen Radel. Ferdinand was born in Kirrlach, Kirlsruhe, Baden, Germany. I believe he changed the spelling of the family name from Hauck to Houck. I am interested in making contact with anyone from this Houck line.

message to Patrice Houck Schadt: hi, my mother's maiden name is Houck. My great great grandfather was Jacob Latzlie Houck, his parents William G. and Frederica. Frederica came from Wurttemburg Baden, Germany. I would love to find more about this branch. Jacob married Margaret (Maggie) Hooven, parents Samuel and Louisa Hooven. This whole group of people lived in Carbon County (formed from Northampton and Monroe Co. during the 1800s).
