yes I have everything you can think of on him :) Born Greene CO. TN. July 15 1815 died Feb 4 1897 buried in Melrose Methodist Church Cemetery, Melrose, IA.
At the age of 21 (1836), he left Tennessee and moved to Jackson County, Missouri. He was united with the Baptist denomination.
In 1863, he enlisted in the Merrill's Horse troop, 2nd Missouri Calvary. He saw very hard service and served to the close of the war. He became badly disabled by disease contracted in the service of his country.
In 1875, he moved to Albia, Iowa. There being no Baptist denomination there, he joined the Christian denomination, and lived a consistent Christian life in the full hope of a better life hereafter. He died at the age of 81 yrs, 6 mos, 10 days.

If you go to find a grave you can see who all is buried in the Gragg Cemetery in Bates CO. MO.

Yes that is correct Jeff. Alexander Marion is Washington Jackson Gragg (my GG Grandfather) brother.

I have a Marion Gragg born in 1838 married to Martha Jane Leaky. He was the son of Thomas Gragg born 1792 which would be the cousin of Thomas born 1794.

Thomas Jackson Gragg son of Washington Jackson Gragg and Fanny Emilia Hummel Gragg. He is with his step daughter Mary Dennis.
