Grouping groups

Hello everyone,
Perhaps there is already a way to do this and I just don't know about it, but if not, I think it would be great if groups could be categorized and then further sub-categorized as they are on many other sites (both genealogical and otherwise).  It seems like that would make it much easier for people to find relevant groups and also to cut down on the number of overlapping/redundant/etc. groups.
