Hi all, I am looking for a Sarah Dunn she was born in OH, around 1810 or there abouts, she married a Jonathan Pearce/Pierce, they were my 5th gr grandparents. There daughter Hannah (Harriett) married Stephen Wood jr, thou she was born in OH, I know that they moved to Scotland Co, MO as a child, she also had brother's, Jim, Ben, Jonathan, there was a Jim and Ben Pierce who lived in Greentop, MO in 1936, as they attended my gr gr grandfather's funeral. I can only assume they are the son's of Jim and Ben Pierce/Pearce.

My Dunn ancestor was as follows:

G-Grandmother: Mary Elizabeth Dunn (1868-1940) Native of Georgia -- she married John William Johnson
GG-Grandfather: Joseph Brittain Dunn, Sr. (1824-1896) Born in Dallas County, Alabama -- he married Mary R Graves
GGG-Grandfather: John Dunn (abt 1785-1863) Native of Virginia -- he married Martha Simms/Samms

I wonder if any of my Dunn's could be related to either of your's? They all settled in Calhoun/Ouachita Counties of Arkansas around 1843.

My Dunn ancestor was John Dunn, who originated in Virginia; but moved to Pendleton Dist.SC where he married. Like Amy's, mine also lived in White Co.Tenn for a while before moving to Kentucky, however we are not related.

I am assuming this is a Dunn family forum. My Dunn ancestor came from supposedly from the White or Smith County are of Tennessee. His name was James Dunn and his only know relative was a Larkin Dunn. Both of them moved to Kentucky I can give anyone more details to anyone interested.
