I've been researching the Deckers of Baltimore County from about 1760.

Looking for any info on NY Deckers.  My 3x great grandfather was William Decker born around 1819, he married Sarah (maiden name unknown) who was born around 1830.  They were in the Connecticut in 1860, then back to NY, Westchester County in 1870.  William died before 1880.  I think Sarah lived in NYC for awhile after his death.

Does anyone know anything more about this family?

My Deckers settled in Butler County Ohio following the War of 1812.  James Decker  (~1775-1826) came from Virginia to Butler County, Ohio.  He had several children:  Elizabeth (Lippencott Closser), Solomon, Isaac, James, Robert Addison, Delina (Lippencott) and John Elliott.  Searching for origins in Virginia.

I have Deckers on my mom's side. Way back in New Amsterdam. I'm not sure where in Nederlands they came from.
