Our family descends from Daniel and Rebecca through their son, Samuel; through his son, James; through his son, Asa who moved to TX after the Civil War; through his son, Morgan who married into the Head family of SC after the move to TX.  Familiar to anyone?

Hi, Shirley,

I don't know. I don't have Chesley in my database, but perhaps my cousin Alicia knows. I'm quite sure they are related because almost everyone in that area is kin in several ways since they all intermarried. Alicia, do you know anything?

Hi Theresa. I am hoping that your Daniel is somehow related to my Chesley MCKENZIE that was also in SC in the 1700's. My line is Chesley>Absolum>Jasper>Marion M. (male)>Ola MCKENZIE SHEETS>Hadgie Amby SHEETS BRANTLEY>Floy Christine BRANTLEY OLIGNEY>Shirley OLIGNEY BAKER (me)
