Godé then changed to Marentette aka Marantette and Marontate are descendents of one of the historical pioneer families of Montréal Que, Détroit Mi, Windsor On and Belle Rivière On. Please be aware of the great project to reach all these descendants for the 2011 Family reunion. Join the facebook Marentette family genealogy group today for more details.

Hello all;
I've just joined and wanted to post my interests. In Ontario: White (Whitevale, Pickering area and St.Thomas) Van Buskirk; Todd (Rainy River). In Quebec, Robinson, Traver and Stott families who settled in the Lacolle/New York border area; Todd; Quesnel, Fahey. Campbell (Gaspe). In B.C. - Lockwood. In Nova Scotia, Van Buskirk. My current interest is to put together the Stott families who settled in St.Valentin (Stott Settlement), St.Jean,Quebec and I'd welcome anyone to contact me about any of these families. As most of my research up to now has been in the UK, I'm looking forward to connecting with researchers closer to home.

Hi all
Have joined because i have interests in the surname "Widnall" from the Thunder Bay area in Ontario from about 1900 onwards, and if there is anyone out there who could do a lookup in Thunder bay Library, just a thought, I live in West Sussex England and would be willing to do a lookup(s) in West Sussex for BMD.
