James Irvin Thompson

I am looking for any information on James, he is my wife's great great grandfather, immigrated to Canada with his brother. Upon landing on the east coast they separated and never seen one another again. James is from Ireland, born 1828 and died in Ontario, Brockville area 1880. He married Dinah Bryon who was born 1818 and died 1910. She may have immigrated from Tyrone, Ireland. Census records she immigrated in 1849. Trying to trace both their roots to Ireland.
