Looking for Information about James McElroy Kentucky

Looking for information about a Mount Sterling Kentucky.  There was a Mount Sterling Plantation that was distroyed in the civil war.  Also looking for any information about a Henry E. Holton or his father Thomas Holton who would have owned slaves in the early 1800 in Kentucky.  My ancestor James McElroy went to war with Mr. Holton and served as his intern.  James' twin brother was sold away from him when they were 18. That would have been about the year1833 -1834. I think he was sold to a plantation in Mississippi. If you know of a slave McElroy that was born in Kentucky about the year 1813 please let me know.
