Hi there Ross
I have found a few listings for you and have put them onto a word doc to make it a bit easier for you.

now you can take it further

Wayne
Hi Wayne,
That is fantastic. you certainly are experienced in finding people. I had already found the children of Albert Ongley and Mary. They are my maternal great grandparents. I located my grandmother Elizabeth Bine Ongley born in Victoria and due to the excellent information on the birth certificate knew where Albert and Flora emigrated from.
I now only need to know Francis Stickings wife Sarah A.--maiden name and then I will have names of my 16 great-great grandparents. I would appreciate any help with that one.
Thank you,
Ross
Hello Ross Glad to help out

Hi Wayne,
The missing item I needed was the marriage of Francis Stickings and Sarah Coveney. Where did you find that one?
My aim has been to find my 16 great-great grandparents. With your help I now have these. Thank you.
Next step is my wifes side.
Hi Everyone,

I continue to hit a brick wall with my search to find my paternal g,grandmother and hope that someone here can provide some clues.

I know from my grandfather's marriage and death certificate that her name was Maud Dempsey. That is ALL I know for certain and the rest that I am about to write here is pure supposition and needs proving.

I believe that she was married to James E Green and may have lived in the St Leonards area of Sydney approx. 1900 onwards.

There is a James Green who died in 1902 in St Leonards. I think this may be Maud's husband.

The only marriage for Maud Dempsey and James Green that I can find is in 1888 in Orange, NSW.
Maud MR Demspey and James E Green.

I checked the BDM and could find only 1 Maud M Dempsey who would be old enough to marry in 1888 and she is Maud M Dempsey, born in Penrith area in 1862 to George Dempsey and Maria York.

What I need to prove is that this Maud is the same one who married in Orange and was widowed in 1902.

Also, can anybody help with a birth lookup??

George Thomas Green b. 1910-12 circa possible parents are Maud Dempsey and James Green

George Thomas Boxsell b.1910-1912 circa possible parents are Maud Dempsey and George Boxsell

many thanks for any help you can offer
Lyn

Hi Wayne,
Thanks so much for the advice and links. I have already been able to disprove an earlier theory by using the gencircle search engine...with luck I will find some clue to this mystery.

I have looked every where possible for the lang that you gave with no result mind you there were quite a few thousand but none matched 1838 + or - a few years do you have any other info that would help like place of death, birth or marriage,is it just the UK or Aust as well any other family to find that link.

My GGgrandfather was Daniel Haymond. He married Elizabeth Griffen and lived at Constant Friendship plantation, now in Frederick Co/, MD. One of his brothers, unknown to me, traveled to Australia, unknown date. I would like to be in touch with people who can point me in the right direction to find information on him. Thank you.
