Center Point and Brazil, in Clay County are where most of my Brewer kin and Scharff/Scharf kin resided.
The Brewer family came by way of Westmoreland County, PA., to Tuscarawas County, OH., then to Clay County, IN.
The Scharff family from Germany, to Tuscarawas County, OH., to Clay County, IN.
Some of the surnames that married into the family:
Armel, Bond, Moon, McIntosh, Riddell, McCurley, Fisher, France, Hoffa, Leachman, Light,Modesitt, Ooley, Tiffee,Pollom/Palm, Raab, Schopmeyer, Siegelin,
Some of these people traveled to Vigo County, Marion County, and out of state.
Let me know if any of these surnames look ramiliar.

Cindy, Have you been to the genealogy library in Center Point? They have surname files
that are wonderful. They can also copy and send!
My Wolf and Balder family also came from Tuscarawas to Clay County!

Shields, Bolinger, McKee, Archer, Wolf/Wolfe, Balder, Hubbell/Hubble,
Bolinger, Overly.... thats about all I can think of right now.
