If you are a genealogy expert, what are your specialties?

I specialize in Latvian genealogy. I also do some work with other former Russian Empire countries, mostly Estonia, but I wouldn't consider myself an expert.

For what reason did you start genealogy research?

I started genealogical research as a child, because I always wanted to learn more about history, and my family's place in it. Now, I want to help others increase their knowledge as well.
