You are correct on the spelling of Splisby, but I only found Alzira's greave not Polly's at the cemetery

Kenneth, I do have Polly Dees married to R.C. and I also have that they had 2 children Clara B. Edmondson b 08/02/1891 maried to Amber Rast and Panthry Parilee Edmondson b 07/24/1893 married to Jeff Linton. Also to Beths Comment Rappahannock is a river in VA Rappahannock was split up to make up a part of Essex county and King & Queen County in present day VA

Hello Ken, Your Benjamin Edmondson d. 23 Nov 1726 Rappahannock, VA, I believe Terry spelled it with a "T", same name given to a prominent river in that state. Great information on the family, Alzira Farris, married to an Edmondson - is one for me to follow now.

I have seen both spellings im not sure which is correct but if I remember right he was burried @ rutledge salem cemetery here in tishomingo county if im not working this weekend I will go and check it out and send you some pics of the headstones

I have a John Coleman Edmondson December 26, 1806 VA- October 16, 1885 who married Mary Smith Coleman February 21, 1812 in IL - August 9, 1871 whose father is Robert Spilsbury Edmondson May 1, 1780 Mecklingburg County VA- 1863 Tishomingo County MS.
