Carol Rombach Teeman I would be glad to help you if I can. Please send any questions to yourpalkit@hotmail.com I miss too many comments on this site and message boards.
Actually the Cranberry township near Pittsburgh is in Butler county...founded in 1804.
Cranberry township in Venango county was incorp. in 1830.
So it looks like the Butler county one is older.
Cranberry is basically across the river from me. Yes I did know him. A true family man. Sad when people have to do these things. They have now found out the shooter killed his wife and himself. Plus he had set it up so he could shoot whom ever came to his home. Looks like he might have wanted to die.
Hi Lisa, so far have found nothing for Donald Angelo, but found a Steven V. Angelo, who was on the Town of Saugus Committee in 1998 & was a state representative. Could he be related? Angelo is not a real common name here. There is also a newspaper article on him, but it is a paid subscription. If I find more will contact.

I do not know of anyone with that last name. I have been away from Saugus for awhile, but just moved back. If hear of that name, will certainly let you know.
Some of my roots are Allegheny too! My dad was born in Pittsburgh. And his roots are German as well. I'll see what I can dig up for you! When you post queries, it's always best to give at least some first & last names, dates (birth, marriage, death) places and perhaps what kind of info you already know so that people reading it don't jump in and re-do research you've already done. It's best if we have an idea what information you are seeking, as no-one can really just do surname searches and send ALL information they've found. Just a thought! I've learned it too myself, sometimes I don't give enough info the first time. And you surely don't want to be pouring over lots of info that you already have!! There's too much new info out there for that. I know I'm addicted!!
