Hello James,
I have an old e-book that someone sent me on the HERVEY/HARVEY family of Suffolk, it has wonderful family trees and family crests drawn in it as well. Also some old baptisms, burials, etc. I will have to find it when I am at home and if you give me your email address I can send it to you. I am not on the internet at home so it might take a few days fo me to get it to you.
In regards to HATCH mine come from Middlesex in London England, I have only traced them them back to abround 1800, my mother is a HATCH.
Regards,
Joy

I just wanted to say Hello really. I can't find out where my grandmother was born..it is stated she was born in Port Huron but the state denies having it. Maybe thery spelled her name wrong..don't know. Ellen (Helen) Chartrand daughter of Mose and Delphine (Julliet) was born in 1868 in Port Huron (?) then moved to Bay City. Found her on the census and they had spelled her name incorrectly..at that point they put it as Chaltraw..so what doyou suggest I should do?

I don't have much on this site. I have been doing research and adding to the tree on Ancestry.com. I have over 4,000 people on that tree. I love doing this. It's so interesting.

Mom's side. Her mother was Cecile Montour, from the Batoche area. Mom's uncles were the ones killed in the battle of Duck Lake. They are buried in St. Laurent. Cecile is buried in St. Louis. The Montours were interesting people. Bonne Homme Montour is buried in Pembima, I think. The come from the name Cous. Pierre Cous. The name changed down the line.

Yes I have them back to Perth but I haven't done much of the research myself. The info I have is 'stolen' from others - probably you.

This site starts with Alexander but I have four generations above him [the 'stolen' stuff].

Hello James,
Yes, we are researching the same Begg family in Stormont. All my Rowe[s] were from Riceville in Prescott County. My great grandfather, John James Rowe, married Margaret Cameron, daughter of Angus Cameron and Euphemia Begg. We may have communicated in the past. You descend from the Tinkess-Begg, Tinkess-Wilson line. I believe you live in Michigan? I am also in regular contact with Linda Tannis from Ottawa, and a few other cousins.
