Genealogists in San Diego , Lemon Grove, National City, Chula Vista, Spring Valley and surrounding areas

 The Lemon Grove library is hosting talks  twice a month to promote genealogy in the community.

  We meet 6 to 7:45 pm at 8073 Broadway, Lemon Grove, Ca 91945

   Susi Pentico has presented countless talks and some guest speakers over the last almost ten years.

   We have had as few as 4 and as many as  23 at any one event. 

   Being situated in the mid area of the county it was hoped to reach out to those who could not get to other 

   events in the region. 

   Many attendees have broken brick walls, and made progress with their research. It is hoped you will come 

   and be able to do the same thing.  

   Here is the schedule for the next  3 events.  If you have something you want to hear more of just let  Susi or the staff know your wishes.

    March 16 will be a Census Information Gathering.  New ways to find old clues in the old Censuses. by  Susi Pentico or Shirley Becker. 
Susi will also share much of the knowledge she learned from the presentations attended at the Family HIstory Fair in Escondido. 


April 6 will be Where do we go from here? by Susi Pentico After teaching here for 10 years we need to know where you want to go next.  There is new protocol at the library for meeting times and presenting notices for topics.  So we need to preset for some months the topics you wish to hear.  

April 20 will be " Catching up on our History" by Susi Pentico and others.  Something very important that was  learned at the FHC Fair.
