It was interesting to read your blog. When I was a young girl (many, many, years ago) I remember my grandparents speaking about the Featherstone-Haugh's. I believe they were quite a prominent family here in Ireland, particularly here in the midlands, where I was raised. I believe there could well be quite a lot of family material in the National Archives of Ireland. The census is on line there and its free to use. Also I believe The National Library of Ireland have an extensive collection of material. Let me know how you get on please. I would be most interested. Regards.
