So, it looks like we're cousins after all - Wilma Fleming Haynes shared some information with me (posted on my comment wall) that includes Agnes Tinkham who married John Sackett. If I'm reading Wilma's info correctly, Agnes is a daughter of John Tinkham (or Tinkecombe). John is my 10G grandfather. I don't have Agnes in my list, which is why I didn't find them when I searched. I left Wilma a comment about getting in touch via email to coordinate information and would like to coordinate with you as well. My address is andy at tinkham dot org.
In looking through the file I have, I don't see any Agnes Tinkham listed, nor do I have any Sacketts. For the Woodward line, I posted my line there tonight, and will be following up with Willoughby and White in the next few days probably. Most of my ancestors on the Tinkham side seem to have settled north of CT (predominantly in MA), but it's still quite possible that Agnes is on a branch for which I don't have records. I'm definitely interested in seeing if we can tie her in somehow and sharing what I have.
Hi, Nancy! I see you list Tinkham as a surname you're interested in. Perhaps our research overlaps? My grandmother and father have identified ancestors back to Robarte Tincombe (my 11G grandfather) who apparently was born about 1560 in Devon County, England.
