- For what reason did you start genealogy research?
- My father did genealogy on his surname. Also, I inherited a photo album from my maternal Great Grandmother. I used the pictures to create a new scrapbook and showed it to my Great Uncle. He told me that I should find out where the pictures were taken etc. Eleven years later, and the rest is history.

Hi Janet, I’m a newbie to this group and to this work, but I noticed that we have the same Haplogroup, H1c9a. I did the test with National Geographic a few years ago, and have searched periodically for other people with this marker, and you are the first person I’ve been able to discover with it.
